Garden Waste Removal

Green waste, turf, soil and the hard landscaping that comes with it — cleared, separated and sent for composting or recycling rather than landfill.

Green waste is worth separating

Kept clean, garden waste composts. Mixed in with general rubbish it does not, and the whole load is treated as general waste at general waste rates. Keeping it separate is usually cheaper for you and always better for the recovery figures.

If a job is part green waste and part rubble — most landscaping jobs are — say so when you book and we will advise whether one skip or two works out better.

Jobs we clear

Garden clearance

Overgrown plots, end-of-season cutbacks and whole-garden strip-outs. Brambles, hedge cuttings and prunings taken away in one go.

Turf, soil and hardcore

Heavy material needs the right skip. Soil and turf are dense, so a small skip filled with them weighs more than a large one filled with green waste — we size it for weight, not just volume.

Landscaping projects

Old decking, patio slabs, fencing and rubble alongside the green waste, kept separate where it helps the recovery rate.

Tree and hedge work

Logs, brash and chippings after tree surgery. Timber and green waste are separated so both go to the right place.

A note on weight

Soil, turf and rubble are the two things that catch people out. A skip has a weight limit as well as a volume, and a mini skip full of wet soil can reach it before it looks half full. It is not an upsell — an overloaded skip cannot legally be lifted, and the wasted trip costs everyone.

Tell us roughly what is going in and we will put you in the right size first time. The skip hire costs guide explains what moves the price.
